This is the 20th Stellar Beams release and these tracks have been compiled from recordings I made across the period March 2020 to October 2023. Although created at different times, and in a range of circumstances, each one of these songs asked to be hidden away until the right moment, so they could appear together as a whole. I honestly don't know how I made some of these songs, but I know that I could never recreate them. The machines are the only ones who know the secrets.

When I started Stellar Beams back in March 2020 I never expected to get to 20 releases, I just wanted to start with one and see what happened, as I needed to take that first step after so many years of unfinished compositions. The pandemic was the catalyst for me to stop trying to make the perfect sound and to stop making excuses for why the music wasn't ready for others to hear; instead I allowed myself to make music for my own enjoyment and released it into the world for anyone who wanted to listen. Being able to then also share music made by (and with) my friends was an extra lovely bonus that has inspired me and enriched the story of Stellar Beams. There's plenty more music to be made and shared with you all.
